Build Outcome Emails​

When you trigger a build, the portal emails you the result. You receive an email when a build:

  • succeeds,
  • fails, or
  • is canceled.

The email is sent to the person who started the build. It is addressed to the email address on that person's own account, and nowhere else. It is not sent to an organization mailing list or to other members.

Where The Email Goes​

The recipient is the email address stored on your account, which the portal takes from your GitHub profile. If your GitHub account has no email address, there is no address to send to and you will not receive build emails. Add an email address in your GitHub profile settings if you are not receiving them.

You cannot choose a different notification email inside the portal. If you want the notifications somewhere else, forward them from the address on your account.

No Notification Settings For Sponsors​

The sponsor-facing portal has no notification preferences. There is nothing to toggle. Build outcome emails are always sent to the address on your account.
